Technical Scope and Goals

What exactly should this investment achieve, and what is its technical scope?

Owner's engineering first defines what is to be achieved once the investment decision is made. Based on facility data and investment goals, the technical scope, boundary conditions and measurable success criteria are set; this definition becomes the reference for every subsequent tender and design decision. Scope ambiguity is one of the most common sources of cost and delay in projects; this axis aims to close it from the start.

Tender and Design Review

Because Afectus holds no shared interest with any supplier, the evaluation rests solely on the owner's technical and financial interest. Technical coordination between different suppliers and contractors is also run on this axis.

Risk and Change Management

As the project progresses, in whose favour are the emerging risks and changes managed?

Every project brings scope changes, delays and technical risks. This axis evaluates change requests with their technical and contractual impact; it detects risks early and manages them in the owner's favour. The goal is for the cost and performance impact of every change to be transparent and justified.
