Independent engineering for industrial and energy projects
Afectus Energy is a team carrying out independent engineering studies for industrial facilities and energy investments. In energy analysis, power systems and project management we don't sell equipment — we stand on the owner's side and build the technical and financial basis of a decision. We also deliver the measurement, communication and monitoring infrastructure of the facility digital twin as turnkey implementation (EPC).
Why independent
When the assessment of an energy investment sits with the party selling that investment, a conflict of interest arises. As an independent engineering party, we have no equipment or solution of our own to sell; so our analysis is under no obligation to defend a particular product or solution. Our only job is to produce a data-driven, defensible technical opinion — to make your decision easier, not to close our own sale.
How we work
We build every engagement on the same chain: data → model → scenario → decision. Our expertise sits in three areas, and in most projects these areas feed one another.
Energy Analysis
By modeling consumption, generation, and price data together, we evaluate BESS, EMS, solar, and energy procurement decisions.

- Energy data analysis and feasibility (BESS, solar, procurement, EMS)
- Power system analyses (short-circuit, protection coordination, arc flash, power quality)
- Technical scope and specification development, technical bid evaluation
- Independent technical representation, coordination, and review on the owner's side
- Investment decision support with scenario, risk, and sensitivity analysis
We don't
- Sell equipment, batteries or materials in analysis and project management work
- Turnkey contracting within analysis and project management (digital twin infrastructure excepted)
- On-site installation or commissioning contracting within analysis and project management
- Advocacy for a particular brand or product
- Savings or payback guarantees without sufficient data
